As the daylight hours fade, we all yearn to gather for one more taste of the summer sun’s sweetness. This gravel race is a nod to that. A confirmation that there is no rest for the wicked. It’s a soul-searching, self-sufficient yearn to chase your demons on one more adventure before the fall equinox digs summer’s grave.
No course markers, limited (4) well-stocked feed zones, nomotorized support, riders rely on cue cards, GPS devices, and divine devotion to navigate rugged Vermont terrain. It is a challenge of both physical and mental toughness. The race will be your choice of 100 miles or 50 miles of Vermont gravel roads. Racers will be timed via chiptiming.
And at the end is redemption. Providence marked by rewards: pig roast, a cold beer, music, and the bountiful beauty that the kingdom of northern Vermont prestigiously rules.
